Up until last night I was a die hard Eagle’s fan. My happiness rose and fell with the Birds. I had made a commitment and promise after I heard Michael Vick’s short sentence that if he ever returned to the NFL I would boycott. I was holding true to my word and began preparing for the longest and most horrible football season of my life. Last night I heard the unthinkable. Michael Vick will be wearing an Eagle’s jersey for at least the next 2 years. Philadelphia has left me heartbroken many times with lost seasons and tough big games, but they let me down to hard this time. I didn’t think it possible but I will not support them any longer. At least not until after Vick is gone.
No if ands or buts about this. I almost don’t even want to go home on Tuesday now.

Sharis, it’s at least one year with an option for the team to extend it to a second year. Also, you’re more than welcome to be a Cowboys fan. Maybe i’ll even let you wear my Witten jersey. Maybe.
